On the 2nd of October 2009, Dong Bang Shin Ki Shanghai ‘MIROTIC’ Concert ended with the powerful support; I’m proud to witness this great and passionate concert right at my doorstep, which makes my blood thrum excitedly~~~ Let me scream~~~
I was working the day before, so I couldn’t make it in time for the goodies sale; I rushed through my chores yesterday, and hurried to the concert venue. OMG!! It was 10 in the morning, but Hongkou Stadium was already crowded with people, and lots were also trying to sell off extra tickets. The pathway of the second floor was occupied by the different fanclubs selling their unique goodies of Dong Bang Shin Ki. The most popular fanclub goodies had to be from the ‘Hero Jaejoong Bar’ and ‘Mr.TVXQ.’ That scene was indescribable, and the queues were just too long, almost circling the whole stadium for one round… I bought lots of different special towels, but I just couldn’t find one from Hey!JJ… T.T After asking around then I found out that the Hey!JJ stall was moved away… So wasted…
This year, the giving off of goodies from all the different fanclubs was much neater and orderly, as compared to last year's 31st of May concert. It might be because of the fact that last year's was the first ever concert here, therefore it was messy and out-of-control. This time, all the fanclubs had arranged for assistants to help maintain the order, and remind us of safety measures. When I went to the ‘Angel Xiah’ area to collect my goodies, the staff even bowed at me politely and thanked me. I was really touched by it. Not only ‘Angel Xiah,’ ‘Hero Jaejoong Bar,’ ‘WithYoonJae,’ ‘Min Bar,’ ‘Su Bar,’ etc. did the same. They put in a lot of effort for the one they like. If it was me, I believe I will do the same.
Something happened to my friend and me before the concert started and this problem almost made us collapse… My ticket was with my friend, which she kept in an envelope. Right after we collected all the goodies and were about to walk to the entrance, she actually lost that envelope!!!!!!! At that point, we were really astonished. Three tickets worth 2500 yuan, gone just like that??!!! I was totally speechless, my mind blank and I reached a state that I don’t even remember where I was. When I came to my senses, I realized my friends had dragged me with them, running, searching one fanclub after another. We searched many of them, and hope was getting thinner and thinner. I was completely miserable, and I cried on the spot. Just when we were about to give up, a girl walked out from the ‘Hero Jaejoong Bar’ booth, walking towards us, asking us if we dropped our tickets. At that moment, I couldn’t believe what I heard, but when we were holding on to what we lost… Then we were able to… Let out a sigh of relief, finally calming myself down. We kept on thanking the girl who helped; such a helpful and nice girl ah~~~ Then we got to know that her favourite is Jaejoong too, but she was not able to collect her goodies because she was waiting for us at the booth where we picked up our tickets, knowing that we will come back for it. I was really touched and thankful for that, therefore we bought a towel from the “Hero Jaejoong Bar’ to show her our gratitude. Just this little interlude almost took away half of my life… I almost missed this concert… I almost couldn’t support the man that I love with everyone else…
We walked until past three, and when all fanclub stalls started to close up, we went to our instructed resting point, waiting to enter the hall. The gate was locked and blocked with a layer of red cloth. They were rehearsing, and having to hear but not to see was really torturing for us. Maybe God had been moved by us all because a strong gust of wind went by, and caused the cloth to blow upwards. Screaming and cheering from fans came instantly, and were all rushing towards the gate, wanting to take a quick look at the boys. I managed to control myself and not to squeeze with them. When they were rehearsing for ‘MIROTIC,’ the cheers had reached its maximum, we were all responding to the lyrics being sung…
At almost 5 o’clock, we started to line up, and not soon after, the staff arrived too; but they didn’t come to open the door, therefore we shouted ‘Open the door, open the door!’ because we wanted to enter earlier. But all staff went away after what we had done… =_=
Finally, it was 5:30pm and the gate finally opened and we started to enter the stadium. Ah, this time around, it was really strict. They were not only checking out our bags, they even used some scan to go though our body… I felt like a thief… The moment I stepped foot onto the stadium ground then I realized that what I had seen through the gate was just a tiny part of it, which left a deep impression on me. I made the right choice to come!!! In 20 minutes, the whole venue was almost 80% filled, but people were still coming in.
I was lucky to sit around fans from Korea and Japan. There were even mother-fans; they were really friendly and polite, and even shook hands with me after seeing my ‘Junsu’ bag. Seems like their favourite is Junsu, and I took a photo with them ^0^~~~ Though I couldn’t understand what they were saying, they then switched to English. My English is not that great too, but we managed to have a short conversation~~~
At 7:25 pm, a video of the 3rd LIVE TOUR started to air on the giant screen. Cheers from the audience had not stopped since, and they were cheering in unison even before the concert started. What I heard most were ‘Junsu’ and ‘Dong Bang Shin Ki.’ The number of light boards increased as time went by; the very first one was the bright green giant ‘J’ board from ‘Hero Jaejoong Bar,’ very striking. It was followed by a giant ‘Min’ board, and ‘JunSu Palace,' ‘Angel Xiah,’ ‘2U,’ which brought the audience to the climax. Whenever a light board was lighted, cheers followed.
Just when we were eagerly waiting, the light of the stadium suddenly went off, and introduction of concert started on the giant screen, this time round the image was really unique, the boys swim through the big sea, fascinating!! Right after the video, were 3 fast beat dance song, ‘Hey!’, ‘Are you a good girl?’ and ‘Rising Sun’, bringing the atmosphere to a greater height instantly with a giant human red sea. Next is the greeting from them, listen to their jerky Mandarin, was touching for me. Follow by 2 ballad, everyone sing along with them, such a good harmony voices of 5. Next is the special arrangement of ‘Hug’, they slowly walked towards the front stage as they sing, how I wish I was just right there in front of them.
Yoochun's solo started with the cheers of his name by the fans. Hhe even gave three roses to the live audience, which caused the fans to scream at the top of their lungs. Everyone started to sing along with his solo song. Yoochun was out of tune that night because he cried. Maybe he was touched, and he continued playing his piano when he was supposed to stop, expressing his love he really felt within to everyone…
After that was Jaejoong's solo. That heavenly voice always has the ability to make everyone scream. I wanted to sing along with him, but I just couldn’t memorize the lyrics… Changmin's solo performance was something really soothing, makes me feel very comfortable, and fascinated, especially the childhood song by him which the other four acted as different characters. Jaejoong riding on a bicycle in the air, Junsu riding a broom playfully, as for Yunho and Yoochun, they passed by too quickly…
The latter part of the concert were all high (energetic) songs which passed by really fast. While singing ‘Balloons,’ everyone sang along in unison, which brought smiles to Dong Bang Shin Ki's faces. The atmosphere was really joyful and great, which I liked very much! During ‘Wrong Number, they were handsomely holding the gun, makes me go ‘starry-eyed.’
Last were the solos from Junsu and Yunho, with Junsu twisting his small waist, and the sexy dance of Yunho and the female dancer. She completely had her body on Yunho, which was just toooooooooooooooooo intimate… It makes one feel really shy, and makes the heart skip a beat. It will be better for them to hug… Kekeke…
I shall not talk more. In short, the atmosphere was really high, especially towards the end. Everyone was holding onto the ‘Miduhyo’ banner, cheering on Dong Bang Shin Ki, and they bowed in gratitude once more. Seeing this reminded me of the ‘disbanding’ rumours before. When they said their goodbye, everyone was hugging each other and crying, because it felt like they were really gone after saying ‘Goodbye.’
Dong Bang Shin Ki left, but we were unwilling to go, and shouted ‘Dong Bang Shin Ki’ in unison. Sigh, if not for rushing my bus, I would have wanted to stay too. Such a wonderful performance, snf I wished to spend more time with them, even for a second more…
Dong Bang Shin Ki, my beloved men, I’m looking forward to your next visit. Your next performance will be much greater. Dong Bang Shin Ki, I love you all… Saranghaeyo~~~ <3
