This week's Oricon chart ranking are nearly all new songs, number one, the special unit Jejung & Yuchun from Tohoshinki had sold an approximate 150, 000 copies on its first week, having more sold than most other Tohoshinki singles. Female singer Nakajima Mika's results slowed down a bit, only ranking fourth, and rock artist Kawamura Ryuichi's results were not too well, only achieving 9th on the ranking.

Jejung & Yuchun created Tohoshinki's best record

Tohoshinki's popularity keeps getting stronger, being good enough to challenge Japanese bands.

Jejung & Yuchun's single this time is "Colors ~Melody and Harmony~/Shelter" has taken the top spot with 150, 000 copies selling, outselling rock group VAMPS with Hyde as their leader and main vocals. This single managed to sell a high number of 100, 000 copies on the first day, and not only being first on the Oricon ranking, it had also broken all of Tohoshinki's selling numbers. As seen from this, no matter if its the group or solo, Tohoshinki's members can use their own charm to create the best record.

"Colors ~Melody and Harmony~/Shleter" is a moving song composed and sung by Kim Jejung and Park Yuchun, it's a song that includes warmth and moving qualities, and it was also selected to be Hello Kitty's 35th Anniversary image song. This song's type differs a little from Tohoshinki's style, accordingly, this song was only composed in 10 minutes. The two from the start to now has shown good teamwork.
