According to recent magazine interview (T/N: not sure which one: CD DATA or What’s In — it’s not mentioned), SHELTER was a joint composed song of Jaejoong and Junsu.
The song was made in South Korea, and while Jaejoong was working on it, all of sudden Junsu came in interrupting him with all his spontaneous idea and they both ended up composing the song together and ignored all the commonness way in writing a song.
Lyrics was written by Yoochun and HUB.
Yoochun wrote the rap part, and the song itself has R&B feel and dance tune in it.
